8 injectors

The other day I had an engine light come on for a few hours. I pulled the codes, all 8 injectors low voltage. Then without clearing the codes, poof engine light off. Recently I had a bad alternator and 1 bad battery, both batteries replaced and a new alternator installed. Ideas or am I looking at a FICM issue down the road. Voltage did check out on the FICM.

make sure you check it while running, and hit the throttle a few times too.

were the injector codes circuit low codes or contribution codes? did it by chance have a p0611 or p1378?

Well new FICM and problem solved. While at the mechanics I got some bad news. Oil in coolant, and I knew I had an oil leak on the bed plate as well but this never stops. Good mechanic, referred by a friend and trustworthy. I will get 3 options for the motor ranging from lowest cost to most expensive. Low being bare minimum and probably have issues again down the road and High being pull the motor redo the entire bottom end, head gaskets, ARP studs, Bullet proof oil cooler and egr cooler. Said he has done a lot of the this kind and once all the little issues are done correctly have had minimal returns of vehicles. No estimate yet, but am thinking about 4000.00 for all this. He did the FICM for 456. New, programmed and installed.
