Red face LPOP install need advice please.

I am trying to put a new LPOP in my 350-05-6.0 but cant get the pump gears to go into the crankshaft ,do I need to lift the truck off the ground ?? any help would be appriciate.

You don't need to lift the truck off the ground. Did you remove the other gears alright? Remove the bushing off the crankshaft that blocks the smaller gear rotor from coming off?

the old gears came off fairly easy,but having a bad time getting the new ones in,I though that they would go right in ,even try tappping with a rubber hammer but dont want to push it to much and have this babes luck up on me.....love my ford..well most of the time..........by the way no bushing was there, not sure if the 05 use one ?
