I was going down a highway at about 70, looked in my rearview and noticed lots of smoke!! So i pulled over and looked under it and oil was poring out of the pass side of the motor somewhere... to much smoke to tell where exactly. I never noticed and diff. in the way it ran just puked all the dam oil out. Can any one tell me or help me figure this one out. Its a 2007 f350 4x4 6.0 I dont have the truck yet its being towed here now.:dunno:
Are you sure it's engine oil? If it puked all the oil out it would have shut down. Anyway.....check around the oil filter/turbo area and see if you can narrow down where the fluid is coming from
The STC fitting is under a cover on the top back of the motor. It's not exposed.
it is def. motor oil and it did shut down but not before i noticed it. It is realy hard to make out where it is coming from def. pass side mid way up and it pours out.
