ficm replacement Plug and Play

Found out my ficm is bad just wondering if buying one off ebay that says latest updates will plug and play or will i have to take to dealership and have anything else done dealership wants 750 for ficm and 400 labor

get one from swamps diesel for a much better price

and might consider upgrading to the 58V

that was my next question what about swamps im hearing good things what would the benefit be from the 48 to the 58

IF cash is tight you and get just the DC converter bd from Ford or you can solder on your own, but it's a gamble on the core charge if you solder on it and don't fix it.


Overall SWAMPS 58V FICM is the way to go.
