Swap 06 / 07 into 2004?

Hi,

Trying to get an idea of the compatibility of swapping an 06/07 longblock into a late build 04 F250. I realize there are some minor changes mechanically speaking but will all of the accessories and wiring connect properly? Are there any complications I should know about?
We pulled a motor to upgrade head bolts, and EGR/Oil coolers, etc and discovered some scoring in the cylinder walls . We have access to a low mileage 06/07 longblock but I'd like to get an idea of what's entailed in the swap ahead of time.

if it's just a long block swap it in. The only thing up top that's any different is the throttle body and that'll get moved over with your current intake

The only thing I'm not sure about the is front cover, hose routing may be slightly different. If you use the 04 front cover though, there won't be a problem

if you want take a look at the 05 coffee table book. It'll cover all the major differences

also if you're putting in a late long block make sure you install the updated high pressure pump connector (STC)
