I just want to thank the users here. I had a problem with the throttle dropping to idle out of the blue and also running inconsistently. I had respnded on a thread by Time2Live about similar issues. He and Trdltly both found that the wiring harness for the FICM (Passenger side engine compartment) was causing issues. I duplicated it as well. There is obviously a problem with the design. I'm not sure at this point if I should change the harness out or just work with the one I have.

These guys saved me probably thousands of dollars of swaptronics maintenance I probably would have received at a dealership.

Great to hear you were able to figure it out. I'm not sure I would want to trace down a wiring problem like that. Best of luck in whatever you decide.
