missing and white smoke after fuel filter and oil change

I just changed fuel filters and oil. It was starting rough so I figured it was filters. I just bought the truck 2007 f350 with 190000. I changed oil and found that there was no oil filter in the compartment. Got new motorcraft ooil filter and cap. Now the truck still cranks cold and runs bad. Throttle response is weak. The coolant looks good doesn't appear to be losing any that I can tell Oil looks good. Blows white smoke when reved up around 2000 to 2500rpm and acts like it wants to lose power
