Oops what did i do??

So i was coming home last night goin about 40 mph and i accedently move the shifter from D to 3 for like half a second and the rpm jump to like 3500 so i immediatly put it back to D then i noticed my truck had died and now it wont start. Can anyone tell me what in the world happend??? Its an 06 f350 with 175k

Try to reset the fuel cutoff switch behind the passenger side kick panel. It will be in your owners manual if you have a hard time finding it.

I just tried that , the button is pushed down I Even unplugged it and nothing

No codes come up, i just pulled the oil cap off and theres no oil in there, could that have something to do with it???

There should be residual oil in there, and not be full.
Have someone else crank it over while you watch in there, it should fill in a few seconds of cranking.
Then check the fuel bowl the same way.

Well now my batteries are drained ill have to go buy a charger, but i checked the fuel filter housing and its full of diesel.
