poor fuel mileage help

2006 6.0 drw king ranch 93000 miles bought app 1 year ago no info on its past it runs good but it started at 13 mpg and now it gets 8-10 on a good day doesnt smoke it has a 5inch cat back exhaust i want to put a new oil cooler and a new egr on it and would like some info on what everybody thinks is the best or worst and what i should get for a programmer so i can monitor my eot and ect and egt i know this is a lot to ask but just want to spend my money wiely and not fooolisly.thanks

i check the ficm 48 volts koeo 29 running i guess that tells the story i have a 58 volt innovative ficm comming hope it was worth the coin

Sounds like the FICM is toast, hopefully that's the end of your worries.

Do you have the 4.10 or the 4.30 gears?
