Ok are these normal for an egr delete, 2004 6.0, I did not reinstall the egr valve, I can put it back in with the delete that I have, or is their another problem some where

i have a SCT tuner and with that you can get the codes go away for good.
i'm not sure does it have an effect on power or engine mangment in general if CEL isn't on. |
i belive it's normal.
i know that -03 like mine does throw those codes, but not turn the CEL on |
do you think it would go away if i put my egr valve back in
i belive that those two codes would go away, but you could have some other codes from EGR cause of when PCM command the valve to open and nothing realy changes it could throw some egr code.
not sure tough. but i know that other european smaller turbo diesel engines have a loss off power cause the engine managment system command the egr open and asume that it is open and the air flow through the maf isn't the only place where the engine gets the air and the ecu does change the fuel injection timing... and so on... |
so to do it the right way i should get an sct

Plug the EGR in and tie wrap it to something in the engine until you get a tuner. Not sure about the '04 but on later MY's it has been confirmed the cooling fan will not work properly if the EGR is disconnected.
