Powersteering pump replacement?
Im helping my buddy out with putting a new psp on his 03 6.0L and he decided to do it from underneath without removing anything. He got 3 of the 4 bolts off and there is one of the lines into the pump in the way of the last bolt. (This is when he called me to come over.) How he is trying to do it, he had to cut a wrench to get on the line and you are pulling at the most akward angle and it wont budge. Now my question is, how would you guys replace a powersteering pump? He didnt want to have to pull a bunch of **** off but i told him we will probably have to. I searched but could not find any answers. If anyone could point me to a thread they know of that would be great.

you will probably have to remove the pulley to get something with enough leverage in there to remove the high pressure line
not sure the exact scenerio but many times this is the case. you would need a power steering pulley puller |
