HELP! Possible Big Problem
Hey guys,
so after buying my 05 several months ago, I was driving it back to Las Vegas from Southern IL. The first day went great and was on my second day of driving and was in the middle of nowhere in Utah cruising at 75 with no inclination of high temperatures on any gauges showing abnormal and I hear a loud POP! I pull over and the first thing I notice is coolant, all inside the driver side wheel well and on the ground. I then pop the hood, and the reservoir for coolant is still showing full and it's not actively still dripping coolant and didn't drip any on the flatbed on the way back to the mechanics. I also see a broken clamp on the return from the turbo to the intercooler. I get the broken clamp making the pop when it blew off and it blew the line off the turbo, but I don't understand the coolant. Can someone shed some light on why this happened? I'll be in the hotel all night. Had to get towed back to some form of civilization and Napa is closed because its Sunday.
