warranty work

Has anyone had any luck getting warranty work after 5yrs? I am at 80k miles on my 05 excursion which recently went out of warranty and I suspect HG failure.

so your warranty has expired, and unless you bought that 05 after it sat on the lot for 2 years, it's not JUST off warranty. You have VERY little chance of getting ford to foot the bill.

if you are the original owner and you have proven maintenance/repair records at your dealer then it's possible ford will help you out a little, certainly not the entire cost of the repair however

if you are not the original owner then don't expect a thing. ford didn't make a dime of the resale of your vehicle
