Whats a decent scan tool i can get the will provide live data and wont drain the pockets to bad?

Love my ScangaugeII with all its Gauges, Fuel Mileage indicator, and Scan Gauge.
In Addition I can benefit from over 59 Additional 6.0L XGauges that can easily be programed.

Mine paid for itself with the fuel savings and truck protection while towing.

Not bad for $160 sold by Auto Zone (Part No SG) and Camping World.

i just got my live data scan tool to trouble shoot my no start 6.0 i was wondering if any one could tell what the correct readings i should have and what to look for? thanks

Looks like the scan gauge cpuld be theb ticket. Just to clarify ican monitor ipr icp ficm voltage and all the stff in real time correct?

another vote for AE. the ability to run buzz/contribution tests, shut down individual injectors, comand the ipr dc, and monitor darn near anything on the truck is priceless.

I have access to an ids whenever i need to get really down and dirty. The issue mainly is monitoring when intermittent issues arise like the one i'm having now. I just ordered the scangauge2 from autozone. Gonna give it a shot and see i not ill return it
