I was pulling my horse trailer and when I hit a bump my truck just shut off. Off course my music was turned up loud so I didnt hear the truck shut off but I noticed that my steering went out and I had little brakes. Thankfully, I was coming up to an intersections....

Anyways, I stopped and looked at my dash. The only lights that were on was my ABS (Always on anyways, bad rear dif sensor) and the battery light. After I got to where I needed to go, I checked the battery terminals to make sure that they didnt get jarred. Everything was tight and no issues. I dismissed the issue after my budy said that maybe some fuel got shloshed around or maybe the inertia sensor shut the engine off. Well the first thing about fuel doesnt make ANY scense and I dont know if my truck has an inertia scensor. It would make scense because I had bumper pull trailer (no horses loaded thank God) and when I hit the bump the *** in went down from the trailer and the front end went up quite a bit. Now bear in mind I didnt hit this damn thing at 90mph lol like it sounds. Its hard to explain, basically the asphault sunk in at this spot and had a whole without cracks like a dip if that makes scense. ANYWAYS! Not important... This morning I was running late so I had to get donuts (tradition, Also not important) and when I pulled into Day Light, I hit another bump that wasnt nearly as bad as the last one when I was pulling the trailer and my truck shut down again. i KNOW i didnt hit that bump hard. I dont have ANY check engine lights on so I cant scan for codes but it just doesnt make scense. I hope I got the question acrossed fine. Its killing me. I am about to go on a 1500 mile trip with my truck and I dont want it to die going 70mph on the interstate. The only thing i can think of is maybe a scensor. If so, what scensor? Any other ideas? Thanks!
