Hot Shot's Secret???

I was watching "Truck U" on TV the other day and they ran a segment about this product "Hot Shot's Secret". It is supposed to clean the deposits out of the oil side of the injectors and make them run like "new" again. There website (Hot Shot's Secret | Stiction Removing Oil Additive) has a bunch of testimonials about how wonderful this stuff is, but you can't always trust every thing you see on the Internet now can you? Any way, I was just wondering if any one out there has tried it and what kind of results you may or may not have had.

By the way I have a '03 F250 SD with the 6.0l and 320,000 miles. I took it to the local dealer and after running a consumption test they told me I need 8 new injectors. Just wondering if this stuff would be worth a try given how expensive an injector job is.

I liked the Hot Shots Secret, but my truck didn't really have a big problem. I had about 3-5 seconds of "loping" at start up. I changed the oil over to Rotella T6 and added the HSS and within' a few seconds the problem was history. That was about 3500 miles ago and no problems have returned. Actually it ran better and better the longer it stayed in. I have heard of folks who had bigger issues going with Rev-X after the HSS failed and they had seemed to report good things. What ever you do, try one of these products before you pay for 8 new injectors.

It was the T6 that cured your problem, not HSS.

I had previously ran the T6 with only a little improvement, but after the addition of both the problem was gone. To each his own, but I'll use the HSS again. If it fails, then I'll try the Rev-X.
