Turning Over, Not Starting, No Codes

Engine turning over, but not starting. Hooked up to OBDII and no codes new or stored. After the glow plug light on the dash goes off, I hear a two second "buzz" sound from around the driver side battery. I have never heard this sound before. Any thoughts?? Thanks!

Is the starting issue a cold start or after you had run it for a while? What year model is your truck?

No problems with cold starts at all. I parked it at 5 a.m. Got back in it at midnight and it wouldn't start up, it would turn over, but not catch. I had it towed to a local mechanic this morning, so I'll post the problem, when I find out. The truck is a 2004 model.

It could possible be you FICM going bad. My 04 did the same thing. It didn't even have to be cold out side. I would check your FICM voltage to at least rule that out, it is very easy to do. If it is bad, and you aren't under any kind of warranty that would pay for the repair, I would suggest just buying a rebuilt one and replacing it yourself. You can get a tuned one for a lot cheaper than a new one from Ford.
