Leaking or Sticking Injector or Glowplug?

Yesterday after sitting for 2 hours I started my truck and had a miss along with gray smoke, strong fuel smell. After goosing it a few times it cleared up and ran fine. Did the same thing this morning. I got a DTC for cylinder 3 contribution/imbalance. I have done the FICM repair and used Rev-x a few thousand miles ago. Could this be an injector leaking/sticking or a glowplug failing? Both times it clears up and runs fine once I get going. I thought a failed glowplug would give a code.
