coolant flush pointers

so i am getting ready to do a flush . just wondering if anyone has any tips or advice . Is there a flush additive i should use for best results ?
What kinda coolant ?
Can i flush using plug on bottom front of rad ?
Will stuff dislodge and plug things up ?
