03 Leaking oil
I have a 03 F250. I have had no problems until now. The truck has 87000 miles on it and is leaking oil pretty badly. It looks as if it is coming in between the heads right around the bottom of the intake. It is leaking a good bit. It is running down over the belhousing and blowing back over most of the tranny. Do you guys have any idea what it is coming from?
Thanks in advance for any info. |

Well i cleaned off the motor and tranny and let it get warm and it appears that it is coming from the left side head gasket. Does this sound right. I havent heard of oil coming from the head gaskets but what do you guys think.

I would check the ICP sensor first. It's in the rear of the engine up top and facing towards the drivers side.

My ICP sensor went a few months ago. Took all the oil I had to get home. sensor and connector was about $150. Damn neaar had to pull the turbo to get at it but all in all only took me a couple hours.
