Coolant filter

I bought a bunch of CAT ELC. I am going to do my flush when my EGR delete kit arrives. I fixed my FICM last nite. While I was at the store I bought a clear fram fuel filter and put it on the line to my degas tank. 50 Miles later there is an unbelievable amount of crud in it. My heads and gaskets, egr, and oil cooler only have 10000 miles on them. Why so dirty?? I am gonna get a dieselsite kit.
