Hey guys, just pulled an oil sample for analysis.
Used a pump and long tube to pump it out from my dip stick holder.
It seemed to have a little foamyness to it. Not a lot, but some. Kind of like bubbles in Coke, but smaller and nothing near the amount in a Coke. I'm not sure that makes me feel comfortable, so I'm curious if that's normal.
It's Motorcraft oil, 15W-40 put in buy the dealer and currently has 4200 miles on the oil, it was warm when I pulled it. Actually I had just shut her down from driving all day.
Anyway, never pulled oil for analysis before so I'm just wondering what you guys think.
