High pressure oil pump question?

My 04 6.0 would not re-start after tuning it off for a minute. Cranks but will not fire. The oil presure does not come up but when I pull the filter cap it fills right up. I had a Mechanic come out and he scanned and pulled the oil pressure unit and hooked a pressure gauge and determind that its the high pressure oil pump. I have now got the pump out and when I hand spin it I can feel suction and slight pressure is there a bench test for this?
