2003 f-350 barely runs, dies, no power

I have a 2003 6.0 with 113,000 mi. At 98,000 had 3 injectors and a turbo replaced under warranty. Just recently i was driving around 45 and it strated to loose power, so i floored it to make it to a safe place to stop but it died before i got there. The engine just wound down slowly and died. A few hours later i got it started and barley made it home ( no power, had it floored and only reached 25 mph. I changed the fuel filters today and it would not start after 10 min of cycling the fuel pump. A few hours later i went out and tried again and it started. Ran like crap for about 3 - 4 min. and died. I just shut it off and left it. Any idea of what happend or needs to be fixed?

did the SES light come on? You need to check for codes. Could be many thing and a code would help narrow it down.

This will save you a ton of money. I know you don't wanna change parts that arn't the problem

Uh OH

Hi,
I am new here, but have had many problems with my 6.o litre diesel. Your truck is doing exactly what mine did....It was a combination of injectors ( 2 of them #1and #7) and the HP fuel pump.
They replaced the injectors and fuel pump and has worked ....mostly ok since ( almost a year).
Good luck - hope it is still warranty!

No lights

No lights ever came on so i thought that was strange. I am taking it in to the shop tonight. over 100,000 so its not in warranty anymore, really dreading on finding out the cost of this. Luckilly my uncle and cousin are mech. there so i mostly just pay for parts. I will keep u posted on what happend. and lets just say it is injectors where is a good place or brand to buy and what do they typically cost?

No lights came on when mine died either....until it was dead and then the normal "your engine is off " lights were on. If you have lots of money have ford replace the injectors......I think mine were $750 per injector plus labour.....and the only thing not covered under the extended warranty!
Ford offers 1 year warranty on replaced parts, but I know you can get cheaper after market injectors - most parts places - just do a search on the net for ford injectors.
