well... radiator is broke, need some advice!

First off I have a 2007 6.0 diesel. The top nipple on the small hose going back to the overflow tank is broke off the radiator. I know there is probably a way to drill it out and southern engineer a fix, but i want to fix it right. Should i get a stock radiator? or is there an aftermarket one that is better than stock? I will be having a friend of mine to the radiator install, since he is going to be in there i have thought about replacing the intercooler with a bigger aftermarket one. Now I am not on a totally tight budget here, but I do not want to spend a ton of money on all this. Is there a fairly inexpensive intercooler that will actually help the truck out that is better than the stock one? any info will really help here, so i thank you in advance.
