Bad Turbo Whistle-Please Help

Hi, I have a 06 f-350. Just today i noticed a horrible whistle from my turbo. I've been doing some research but just can't find the problem so thought I would ask. It was doing it at low throttle and no throttle. I opened the hood and could hear it really loud. I unpluged the wire to the turbo and it stopped completely. So it must be something to do with the turbo. I do have an egr delete and have done arp studs and black onyx head gaskets if any of that would help. Thanks in advance for the help. I know i'll get the answer soon because everyone on here is super awesome. Thanks again!!!

When you did your headgasket job, did you take apart and clean your turbo? If not, you might think of doing it. It's not hard and you might find that cures your problem. Sounds like you have stuck Varible Veins. There is a post on cleaning the Turbo somewhere on this website. Go to 6.0L Tech Files/Repair on the Forum page.
