engine miss

Sometimes at a stop light when the truck is in gear and I'm stopped with my foot on the brake my engine seems to have a miss in it. It's not the air compressor engaging or disengaging, and no codes. What else could it be?

I have had the same issues with and intermitent miss fire. Both times it was an injector or two that was bad.

Did your truck still seem to start, and drive smoothly?

Mine does something similar, except i wouldnt call it a miss. It makes the truck rock slightly, but when i put it in park it stops. Sound similar?

Thanks Dave, I just read an article on Injector Stiction. Seems maybe a simple oil change is in order. I have only 1,200 miles on this set of filters. I wonder if I can get by swapping out just the oil. This time of year where I am is normally between 10 - 30 degrees. I have 15/40 Rotella in it now and looks like I should be using 10/30w.
