ok i think i know its my ficm but just want some opinions first. About a week ago my truck started really hard 20F here and truck was plugged in. It stalled after being started for about 30sec it would run rougher and rougher until it stalls. So i thought gelled fuel at first i changed filters and put 911 in tank and filter housings. Same thing so i checked fuel pressure 50psi at all times. After that i had no clue what it could be.
![]() I ordered the AE and got it yesterday (i was tried of having a dealer look at it and charge u $100 to just look at it). I hooked it up to day i looked at my codes sorry forgot the numbers but one was cyl 1 glow plug circuit and the other was ficm performance the ficm at first was 48.5 koeo. I started it same thing hard to start and ran good for about 30sec but i looked at my icp it was around 1100psi im pretty sure thats good enough. But my ficm was 40v and it has to be at least 48 right? I just want to make sure there couldnt be something else effecting the ficm for it to be lower than 48v i have 13.5v going into it. Im new to diesels so let me know if im missing anything. Thanks |
