blown turbo guy needs more help

so i went out this morning and looked into the turbo i still have the short peice of inlet on there so i can see but i have to look into that 6 or 8 inch intake tube , anyway the fins on this side look fine and when i reach in there i dont feel any play in the fins or the shaft it sits on . i'm just wondering if my prob is on the otherside and if i have a busted fin behind there or something would the frontside still look good and not have play. i just dont wanna pay for a turbo i cant afford anyhow and it not be the problem . also when i went out and turned the key the oil pressure guage didnt go up to its normal spot and i dont know if thats normal when shes cold or its because ive got the hos to degas bottle off and intake taken out , it wouldnt start and now i am terrified and just dont think i am qualified to even own this truck . again, any help is GREATLY appreciated .
