New Member- Need Engine Fan help

Hello everyone, I am a new member here. I have been reading the site for a while now and finally took the time to join. (Got tired of not being able to look at all the nice trucks! LOL) I love this website and I love my truck. 2006 6.0L EC 6Spd 4x4

I just got my truck back from Beans Diesel Performance in mufresboro Tn. I had the ARP studs,EGR delete, heads milled and decked, a new oil cooler, sct tuner with Beans custom tunes, a Beans 68mm turbo, and guages.

I just got the truck back and noticed the engine fan runs all the time. It sounds like a dump truck. From the moment you start it till the time you turn it off. 10MPH or 70MPH it dont care. It is quiter at 70 though. Could this be something with Beans tune making it do that? The temp here is between 20 and 30 degrees. No towing just an empty load, just driving around town and on the interstate. It didnt do it before it went over Beans. I thought about unhooking the fan clutch to see if it would stop, if it doesnt then i am assuming its the clutch. Is their a way to set when it engages with the SCT? I dont have a Coolant temp gauge just pyro, boost and oil preesure. Didnt think it would be the oil cooler its brand new.

Its driving me nuts. Any help would be awsome.

Nope your fan shouldn't run like that. It's actually a pretty rare occassion when it should lock up enough that you can hear it. I'd contact Beans again and ask them about it.

I agree with Dave on this one, maybe something happened with the tuning

OK i just spoke with beans diesel and they say that they did something amazing by getting the CEL to go off with the NVV turbo. They say there is something wrong with the software they installed and they are gonna send me a new tune. I hope this doesnt start a chain reaction with CEL due to different tunes.

Well I got a new tune from beans and so far no CEL and no more dump truck motor LOL. Thanks guys, felt good just to get some expert opinions while I waited.
