yes for low egr flow, you'll need a tune to turn it off.

I left my EGR installed and plugged in, my sct is tuned for the delete and have never had a problem. There seems to be a problem with certain trucks getting CEL lights after taking out the egr valve when deleting.

if you have a MAF its the reason for a insufficient flow code. thats the only purpose of that sensor on these engines. proper egr flow means less room for incoming air and less air that the maf senses

what i want to know is with the latest calibration is anyone experiencing derated power due to p0401? or is that a myth..

Hum...I may have to look into this. I got a new OEM "tune"/flash last Dec or Jan, and it was/is definitely detuned, but I keep my EGR unplugged and do get the 0401 code, but no CEL. I may have to plug in the EGR, clear the codes and see how she runs on the way home tonight. I never put the two together, ie 0401 and less power.
