ABS light then truck died

Hello,
My friends 06 350 died on him today while driving down the road. He said ABS light came on then the gauges shut down and the truck just shot down. Any clue what caused that? Thanks for any suggestions.

Mine did that last week and it was the alternator, but im no tech.
