External HG coolant leak?

is this unheard of or does it happen? ive got a customer with a coolant leak that looks to be running right out of the back of the head. ive never seen or heard of head gaskets (on 6.0's) leaking externally other than maybe oil.

its a side job so i wont be able to put it under pressure until later, just looking for some input

i bet it is the big "o-ring" that goes between the front cover and intake, and it is running down the block. does it have and egr cooler still?

yeah it still has an egr cooler. do those leak externally?

They can. Or it could be the hose inbetween the oil and egr cooler.

i would pull the turbo off then presure test it.

found the leak last night, coming right out of the o-ring from the egr cooler to the intake. thanks guys
