Doing EGR delete and HPOP problem

So I'm doing the EGR delete and HPOP and when I removed the intake manifold I found two little spings sitting by the hpop. The are real small and conicle, like ones you would find in a toy where AAA batteries go. Does anyone know where these spings go?

Not sure. Maybe they were dropped there by accident? Does it look like it has a new drain valve on the fuel filter housing? the drain valve has a spring behind it.
