Truck cut off on me this am...

My truck has kinda been acting up lately... At idle (which is usually around 7-800 rpms) it will rev up close to a 1000 and then drop back to 500 or so. It has been doing this for a few days now. Then yesterday I went to turn it over and wouldnt turn over on the first crank, or second crank. Third try was a charm and it ran fine, but still doing the idle thing. Well this morning I thought it was gonna give me a hard time to crank, but it cranked right up, and then I was on my way to work and going about 40 down the road and it suddenly just died and wont turn back over... Any ideas? Fuel pump maybe?

Also, the other day on my bulldog i had the codes of Fuel pump circuit high and one other one that i cant remember of the top of my head.. As well as cylinder 7 circuit low, and cylinder contribution balance?

Any ideas? Anyways, towed away she went this morning...
