6.0 No start
I'm working on a 05 6.0. Did head gaskets about a month and a half ago everything was well. No has a no start. Pulled the dip stick and there was nothing on it. Ended up putting a 1 1/2 gallons for oil in it. Fault codes where
lost communication with dash injector module performance All injectors low voltage injector module high voltage. ![]() batteries are pretty low so I'm letting it charge up now. Getting very little smoke from the exhaust. Truck is bone stock right now. Signs of mods from previous owner. coolant looks clean.oil is black from turning it over. No signs of blown HG's again Last edited by kuntryquesttsi; 11-29-2010 at 12:51 PM. |

No start troubleshooting thread --> Troubleshooting a No-Start condition
Bad or low batteries can mess with the FICM which would throw the all injector low voltage codes ..... or your FICM could be bad there is a test procedure in that link above. Good luck |

Thank you sir.
When I turn the key the only thing that comes on is the air bag light nothing else intill I crank it over then the dash comes to life. |

The airbag light is the only thing that comes on when you first turn the key?
Youve got either a PCM issue or wiring issue |

That was yesterday, today it takes a few secs before the rest of the dash comes alive. The battries could have been that dead?

Charge the batteries it takes a minimum of 10.5 volts to activate the PCM

I'm going to leave them on charge for the better part of the day and check wiring when I get a chance while they are charging. I checked the FICM and it holds 47.x in till the batteries start getting low then it drops. yesterday I was getting a FICM high voltage code.
