Gave my 2004 6.0 throttle yesterday it died like someone shut the key off. What is wrong?

Thanks 4 the reply. My dealer is booked till Tuesday. Did some reading hope it aint the oil deal just cranks wont start. Could it be something simple?

Is the fuel pump running?

HPO Id start there for your no crank issue and random shut off.

you will know more when the codes are pulled. I hope its not the FICM

Yes the fuel pump is runnin what do i do with the hpo is there a way to tell if it is bad?

You'll probably need to wait to get it scanned for codes. I would think that if its the HPOP it would kick some codes along the lines of the ICP sensor or something like that. If theres another way to determine that someone will chime in to let you know. If it is the HPOP it's not a cheap easy fix fyi unless your still under warranty.

I have an 05,Mine did the same thing about two months ago.Towed it to the dealer,it was the FICM ..cost me $976 to get fixed.

Thank for the info. It is out of warranty 161000 miles. No problems with it till now thats why this stuff is all news to me. Will like to here any info on it. Thanks
