Bulletproof EGR delete or replacement

I'm wanting to have a Bulletproof EGR delete or cooler replacement done on my 06 F-350 along with an oil cooler replacement. I've been given quotes from $2300 to $5200 for the same job. Seems all over the place. I was a diesel mechanic for over 20 years but with a back that gets worse every day, I just can't do the work. According to Bulletproof's site it's about a 7-8 hour job. What is everyone's experience with this job? Any ideas on a fair price?

Just do what I do Warrant, have younger friends. Mine was supposed to go on this weekend but things changed. I will let you know how it goes when I find out.

You have lots of young bucks down there. Just hit up your local chapter. I mention wrenching on the fat girl and I have 4 or 5 volunteers.

The delete goes in fairly quick if you wrench on 6.0's regularly. If you dont I would plan at least 6 hours.

Scotts guys had mine in in about an hour and a half

If I do the delete, what do I need to do to get rid of the check engine light?

Cool

Hour and a haft all a part including manifold off to be tanked at a machine shop and oil cooler out and apart also.
Labor about $650.oo $750.oo Plus all parts and fuilds, oil , filters, coolant flush, oil cooler rebuild kit, sinister delete, or buletproofs, gaskets. Probaly neighbor hood 1500 to 1800 total labor and parts anymore your gettin ripped off. just depends all what you have done .
Ps it comes all apart hour and a haft takes a bit longer to put it back together
