getting rid of black smoke

I have an 05 f250 w/ 112,000 miles, want to know how to get rid or lower the amount of black smoke i get when i accelerate and pick up speed... someone said use seafoam in vaccum lines, but i have never done that. i do use lucas every other fill-up. thanks in advance and all info welcomed....

is it excess black smoke? is there a chip or anything on the truck?

no chip all stock! just a big black cloud when i get on the foot pedal a little hard.. no other smoke, only durring acceleration..

hmmm, I wonder if your turbo veins are froze

Do you have any lack of power?

any DTCs? Pull your EGR valve out and check to see if its stuck. If a small amount of carbon gets wedged in there and holds the valve partially open, it will blow black smoke.
