05 6.0 died going down road wont restart

Driving down the road got into some traffic and let off the throttle and truck would not go. Had to put the pedal on the floor to go 45 mph. I pulled off the interstate and truck died would not restart. Had to ge it towed. Truck will not restart. When it would only go 45 it belched out some black smoke. Got it back to the house and pulled the egr valve and it was sooted up real bad cleane it up and got it moving freely again put back in but still would not start. Had egr code, fan code, and 2 icp codes. Checked to see if it was reading cam sensor and it is. Only getting about 115 psi on my icp reading. Was wondering if there was anything i was missing or did my hpop just go out. Thanks.

well you do need 500 psi to fire the injectors. What viscosity oil are you using? Oil level normal? If it has 2 ICP codes, I would change the ICP sensor and then re-diagnose to get an accurate reading. Post back with your findings and we'll go from there.

Sounds like a STC fitting failure but there are other options too.
