Head Gasket Kit

Looking for the best price on a head gasket kit with everything I will need to get the job done. I found ARPs for $425 delivered..... Who's got the best price on these parts ?

Ya know..... I ran across all this stuff over the months looking and reading. Never bookmarked anything, always said to myself.... I'll remember when the time comes ! Ya right

Anyone familiar with "Victor Reinz Head Gaskets" ? I did find a kit for $535 for Arps and these HG's..... Good, Bad or ugly choice ?

You'd be fine with that kit. Lot's of folks like the VR headgaskets. I'd think $625-$650 would be about right for studs and gaskets. Just note those are 18mm studs. If you have an '06 or '07 you'd need the 20mm.

Glad to hear they are good. have an 04..... so 18mm is what I'm looking for. $650 was what I was expecting to see everywhere..... but when I saw $535 delivered, figured I'd start asking questions about it.

I'm going to talk to a few sponsors too and see what all they can do for me as well.

Thanks for the info

I'm in the same boat right now. My truck is waiting on the studs, gasket, oil cooler, egr delete thing as well. Wife's unempolyed right now so kinda tuff to save up that kinda cash (esp. after having to spend $3k on lasik..). Luckily being unemployed she doesnt need her truck tho! If you are interested MKM customs has a complete kit that has everything you will need for the entire job for about $1300 or so that already includes these items. You might look at them before you pull the trigger.

I seen that a while ago before I did my delete and oil cooler about a month ago. Almost purchased it but didn't because I said to myself "I don't need no stinkin head gaskets and studs"...... plus I found a new cooler and delete for a grand total of $400 delivered ! Great price and all worked perfect. Figured if I did have to purchase gaskets and studs later I'd still be ahead.

So...... now I'm in search of what I though I didn't need before.... Ain't that the way it always goes ?!

Check out Cobbs Deisel. They worked with me and gave me a good proice on arp's and black onyx gaskets. Cant remember off hand but was better than any ebay price for the same items. Really good people to deal with.

So far everyone I talked to can't touch $535 delivered for ARP's and gaskets..... I'll keep trying. I'd like to give the business to a sponsor if possible.
