leaking injectors?

what are the symptoms for leaking injectors and how is this determined which one/s are leaking? i noticed my lie o meter plumiting from 50-18 mile till empty on an 8 mile drive. i know its not accurate but that seemed a bit extreme, so this morning i checked my oil and is over the fill mark which im pretty sure i didnt over fill it, last oil change. it didnt really smell like diesel fuel though. i am not getting any codes but in the past i have seen a p2290 code.

Oh man that dont sound to good. Im not sure on how to tell eather, but i thought mine was doing the same thing once. i would drain the oil and replace it then drive it for a few days and see if thats it or not. thats the only way i know how to tell.

Edit: Great time for a new set. I can hear it now. But Babe there broken and i need a new set! lol

It's not a fast answer, but maybe overnight an oil sample out for analysis. You will definitely know when you see the fuel dilution percentage!

where do you fill the dipstick to?? If its anywere over halfway up the fill range cold....it will show up as overfull hot....

I dont trust the "miles to empty" one bit....and where you dont smell diesel in the oil i think your jumping to conclusions...could even be a bit of resistance in a spot in the sending unit that makes it a touch more innacurate when the tank is lower (and for my lecture...you should never run your tank that low!!:boxing: )
