Injector Pulse Width drops to zero....

I just finished studs, oil cooler, and egr delete. The truck will fire right up and idle. Sometimes it hiccups, but usually good at idle. Then when I let off the pedal(no load while driving) the injector pulse width bounces to zero and back. Truck stays running, but acts like it runs out of fuel. NO Codes. Can this be air in the lines still. Have about fifty miles on it and 20 minutes of idling.

What are you useing to see pulse width, an ociliscope?
As far as the air, running that long any air from when the system was opened is long purged out. That does not mean you may not be sucking in air from somewhere else.
Can you get any live data readings?

ahhh ok does it also read live data to see if any signals are cutting out when your problem occurs, like fuel pressure suddenly droping or oil press. etc

Ya it is reading live, but I am still playing with it. Don't think I can measure fuel pressure or HPOP pressure.

Pretty sure injector pulse width should go to zero momentarily when you let off the throttle. When you are going downhill with the converter locked you can hear the injectors stop firing if fuel is not needed to maintain RPMs.

Ya you're right. I changed the oil in it today before I took it to the dealer and it is running like a champ. I didn't have the Insight in it before the head stud job so I didn't remember what it ran like. However, I put cheap 15-40 dino oil in it just to run for a few miles and change to help clean all the crap that might have gotten into the motor. Truck ran like crap as stated above. When I put the Mobil One Syn 5-40 back in she purrs like a kitten.
DON'T RUN CHEAP OIL.
