Anyone seen all my coolant?!?!?

I am losing about a gallon of coolant every 2 days.I have done the egr block off kit.There is a bad coolant smell in the cab when it gets hot.Am i headed for head gaskets?Not happy with this truck at all,it is an 06 f-450 with 160160 miles on it.It is a tow truck and i hate to put it down for to long.

Theres no leak in the core,i am losin pressure when i test the system but no leaks in the cab.

Is it puking out of the degas bottle? Do you have the tea kettle whistle after you really romp on it?

A gallon every two days is a lot... might be time for head studs and new gaskets.

Changed bottle twice already.No whistling,leaks from cap just a little but not enough for the loss of coolant.

im willing to bet its all coming out of that bottle but its coming out with so much force not much is staying behind. it sounds like its time to stud and delete it

Pulled egr and is covered in coolant.Is there a block off for the cooler?

im having the same problem with my 03 6.0 but my truck is studded already...i had the tea kettle whistle whenever i turned my truck off but dont have it anymore....i though it was head gasket and tried a bottle of the 60$ head gasket sealer and im still leakin....someone told me i might i have restriction in my oil cooler than is causing pressure build up...i also have no white smoke except when i start it up cold it gives off a puff....thanks for any help

I would think if it was a head gasket you would have quite a bit of steam coming out the exhaust.

you need to rebuild the cooler and then you can do a full egr delete like the one from first coast diesel performance or just a block off

my truck has seeping hg's under boost and it has never smoked out the exhaust other than normal diesel soot
