EGR and Oil cooler help

So I have to replace my EGR cooler and Oil cooler. I have a guy that will do the work for me to help save some money but I just have a few questions

1) I want to do the EGR delete. There seams to be a pretty big range of cost for the kit. Can any one steer me in what kit is the best. Also I have been told I might have to turn the EGR sensor off if I do the delete kit. Is that true. If you don't turn the EGR sensor off will that trip the check engine light.

2)whats a good oil cooler to get. I don't have the money for the by pass kit. I'm looking for some easy to install but will hold up better them the OEM

3)should I get an coolant filter kit installed at the same time I'm doing all this work.

OEM is fine if the coolant is clean. Get the stock oil cooler rebuild kit and add an oil filter. Flush your system with simple green then VC-9 iron block cleaner.
