Pukeing
Truck went into ford monday, called today and was told they took off the EGR cooler and tested it , check out ok. now they have to tae the motor out to replace the head gasket. I then asked if I was to give them the stronger head bolts would they be able to install them. I was told that the ford head bolts are upgrades from the factory installed ones that failed. Is this True? There is only 34,788 miles on the truck.

I have seen that before.Usually best way to do them is pull the cab off.I've seen them go when the cabis left on.You need some room to torque those studs.
