ICP Sensor

I Have a 2004 f250 6.0 that is in the shop. they said i need a ICP sensor and connector. Does anyone know where the icp sensor is located and how much one cost? The ford place is charging me 500 bucks and i just want to see how bad they popped it to me

It will depend on the time your 2004 was built, the sensor will either be on the passenger valve cover or behind the turbo on the 2003-2004 models. It's a snap to change if you have a 2004+ model, but the 2003-2004 are more difficult, you have to change it from under the truck, removing a shield.....

Mine went out on my '03, bought one from eBay for $50 and took an hour to put in. I didn't change the connector, just the switch.

sounds about right if you have an early 04 with the sensor on the pump. thte sensor and connector alone are 150 or so plus a couple hours labor and diag if you had them diag it.
