Sorry to answer a question with a question, but why do you think that it might not be working?

A good scan tool will tell you if it is working. But the good ones are big $$

check the nipple on the intake where the hose from the map sensor goes to the intake. they like to fill with carbon and cause weird readings.

Weird readings like what? Mine goes haywire when it's warm out sometimes, especially after the engine bay has had some time to heat soak while the truck has been parked. Sometimes the sensor reads no boost, sometimes 40 psi or more, sometimes all over the place.

I'm reading boost at the Edge tuner, which is also reflected in the ScanGauge... perhaps it's a problem with the piggy-back harness on the MAP sensor?
