Exclamation More problems

So u fixed one problem I had, which was popping and filling like it was missing, I replaced the furl filters and it ran a unbalance code on #3, it's gone and there isn't any popping... Must have been bad fuel and air? And now the turbo isn't over boosting but it's now got major lag and it isn't holding turbo pressure it's like off and on... Like it goes above 5 psi an once it goes over 5 it drops back to 0, but if u put the hammer down it's fine, doesn't over boost, it hits 25 and hasn't got the rev problem now... But it's still got the god awful lag. And the EGTs go from 700-1600 faster then it does 0-70

I'm going to delete the egr, and clean the turbo, how do u clean the turbo? And what else should I do or look for

Pull the turbo off, and disassemble. Clean the veins really good, I guess you can jsut use a brush and brake cleaner. Check for a boost leak too, its what it really sounds like you have.

So now I feel really dumb, I thought I checked all my boots but apparently I didn't check the one on the turbo good enough it was ripped half way around it, but I'm thinking it probably did that when it was over boosting, since I'm already down to taking the turbo off and removing the intake so I can put the egr delete on does anyone have any tips on re-assembly
