Another EGR question

My check engin light comes on and off my buddys scanner (Snap On) said it was the EGR.
Still under waranty 96,300mi, just have the dealer replace it or should i do a delete kit?

Ive heard i should use the delete runing a power adder. (Banks 6 Gun)

How hard to install a delete kit? Can the dealer do it? No good mechanics round hear.

I don't think a dealer would put an EGR delete kit in...would it be considered against the law?

It is a pretty good job for someone that doesn't work on theses things a lot.
Mine was replaced by the dealer at 81,000 miles and at 116,000 it started puking coolant. I did a delete myself. If you get a dealer to just replace it, make sure they change the oil cooler too.
